55Since the creation of the Odyssey of the Mind program in 1978, students have been using their creative problem solving skills to solve problems in Odyssey of the Mind, in life, and in the world. OMers live in every corner of the world and include educators, engineers, artists, executives, actors, lawyers, doctors, and more. The Odyssey Alumni program brings this diverse community together.
In Tidewater Region 6, we celebrate our graduating seniors and induct them into the world of Odyssey Alumni. We hold a graduation ceremony for our seniors where they receive a graduation cap, diploma, Virginia Odyssey Alumni pin. Our seniors are greeted by other Odyssey Alumni including judges, coaches, parents, Tournament Directors, Regional Directors, and past a State Association Director to welcome them into the alumni community.
